Now you can book your COVID-19 vaccination slot at Paytm. Payments App has launched a COVID-19 vaccine finder on its Paytm Mini App Store. The app will not only help people in booking slots, but will also inform users about the availability of the vaccine at the centers. Users can opt-in for real-time alerts from Paytm. Talking about this new initiative of the Paytm app, a spokesperson said, "We have launched a new feature to find the COVID vaccine slot in your city, it is used to alert you when new slots are opened." We believe that with the joint efforts of the government, organizations and citizens, we are well on our way to recovery. The idea behind introducing the new facility is to help people participate in vaccination in a systematic way. According to a statement shared by the company, the tool on Paytm tracks 780 districts in India for the availability of vaccine slots in one's area. Using the new Paytm feature, citizens can filter the vaccine slot based on location and age. The app provides automatic alerts in real-time when new slots open. The third phase of vaccination was announced by the Government of India, which makes 18 to 44-year-olds eligible to be vaccinated. How to register for the COVID-19 vaccine in India?
The government has announced that the third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign will start from May 1, for which registrations will start from April 28. All people over the age of 18 have to register themselves on the CoWIN website or Aarogya Setu. To get the first shot of the vaccine, one must register and make an appointment. Currently, India is operating two vaccines: Covaxin developed by Bharat Biotech, and Covishield which is being manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII). Participate in the registration process for Covid-19 vaccination by following these steps:
1. Visit CoWIN website using any browser
2. Click "Register / Sign In" to start the self-registration process.
3. The website will ask you to enter your phone number to get OTP.
4. Enter the OTP you received on your phone
5. After this the website is going to ask for the details of a photo ID proof.
6. Select a valid photo identity card (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Pension Passbook, NPR Smart Card or Voter ID) from the list.

7. Enter photo ID number, name, gender and year of birth
8. After all fields are filled, click Register.
9. After registering, the website is scheduled to give you an appointment at the nearest vaccination center.
10. You can also add up to three more people to the same account.
11. To select your nearest vaccination center, enter the PIN code in the search bar and select the available time slot
12. Click Confirm and you will have scheduled a vaccination appointment. Now your appointment details are going to be sent to you through an SMS on your registered mobile number.
Registration for the COVID-19 vaccine can also be done through the Arogya Setu app. If you have the Arogya Setu App on your phone then follow these steps:
1. Open the Arogya Setu app on your phone
2. Choose the CoWIN tab in the app
3. Tap on the vaccination option and then tap on Register Now
4. The app will ask you to verify the phone number through OTP
5. After verifying, you are going to be asked to enter your photo ID proof and more details.
6. After you have done all the things, you are going to get your appointment details on your mobile number.
