Xiaomi launched the Mi 11 globally this month, and it looks like a very solid flagship phone for the $750 to $799 price tag. But what if you want something more impressive from a Chinese brand? Fortunately, it seems that the Mi 11 Ultra is on its way to tick every box.

Mi 11 Ultra Leaked |
YouTuber Tech Buff Ph. 10 minute long hand uploaded video pretends to be what he calls Mi 11 Ultra (model number M2102K1G). The video, which has since been removed, confirms that One Ton Specs and Paint offers a picture of one of the most feature-packed flagship phones of 2021.

Mi 11 Ultra Specs |
Probably the most interesting is the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra feature spacious rear camera housing, which not only hosts the triple rear camera layout, but also a smaller screen. This display seems too small for regular touch interaction, which brings to mind the Meizu Pro 7 Series. But we have to assume that it will be used to take selfies instead of the main camera.

Speaking of photography, it seems that the Ultra model will also offer an impressive upgrade on the Mi 11. It is said to have a 50MP primary camera, 48MP ultra-wide snapper and a 48MP periscope camera with 120x digital zoom. There is no word if it is a 5X or 10X optical lens. Meanwhile, the punch hole cutout has a 20MP sensor on selfie duty.

It has also been claimed that the phone will give fast charging speeds for its 5,000mAh battery, which will include 67W wired charging, 67W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The Mi 11's 55W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds have given a charging time of less than 55 minutes.

Mi 11 ultra specification |
Another notable feature listed by Tech Buff PH is IP68 water resistance, which may be the first time we see a Xiaomi phone with a significant (and official) water resistance rating. We have previously seen Xiaomi devices with a splash-proof coating, but they never had an official IP rating and were not meant to be submerged in water. So this is a major step for the company.
Otherwise, the device will apparently be equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor, 6.67-inch WQHD + OLED screen at 120Hz refresh rate and Harman Kardon-Tune speakers.
Amidst the flagship silicon, fast 120 Hz screen, high resolution rear camera, fast charging and IP68 rating, we expect this phone to have a premium price tag (~ $ 1,000 or more) at launch. Perhaps this phone will not be limited to the Chinese market if a Filipino YouTuber has laid his hands on it.
