How to turn on dark mode in Google
After starting the dark mode for the desktop version, users will get the option to set Google Search as Light, Dark and System Default. For this, users have to go to the system settings of Google search and change the default settings. The dark theme will not blacken the entire background of Google, but it will be seen in dark gray color. At the same time, the text will appear white in dark mode, while the link will remain in blue color as before.
When will users get dark mode feature
The Dark Mode feature is being tested with select users and will work with the system theme on the desktop. That is, if the desktop theme is dark, then the Google search page will also automatically appear in dark mode. Dark mode has started appearing to select users, but it has not been given the option of on or off. When all users will get this feature, no official announcement has been made by Google yet.
These services have already received dark mode
Prior to Google search, the company has started the dark mode feature for many of its services, which include Gmail and Google Calendar. Google has also released support for its Assistant Powered Smart Display such as Nest Hub.
