Following this path, YouTube has launched an app named Shorts as an alternative. Facebook is testing one such option in the name of Lasso in Brazil. On YouTube's new app Shorts, people can create short videos and upload them like Tiktok. In this, videos can be made on YouTube licensed songs.

According to 'The Information' report, YouTube shorts like Tiktok will also have the option to choose audio and music and the special thing is that there will be no copyright issue regarding its audio and music as the list contains only licensed songs.
