Jio has officially launched the voice and video over Wi-Fi calling feature that allows users to make much-clearer calls through Wi-Fi at no additional cost. The Mukesh Ambani-promoted operator says that it’ll work on any Wi-Fi network and isn’t limited to Jio Fiber, anywhere in India and supports over 150 smartphones. The telecom giant was testing the service over the past few months in various cities. The voice and video calls will seamlessly switch between VoLTE and Wi-Fi. Jio Wi-Fi Calling will be enabled all over India from now through January 16th.
